  1. Regarding which overlay to use for what crops — I find, perhaps unsurprisingly, that the Golden Ratio and Golden Spiral power points are most compelling for Golden Ratio crops. I often use one of these for Golden Ratio crops, and I’ll rarely use Triangles for a square crop (even for a square, I’ll usually put the power point somewhere off-center).

    As I wrote that, I note perhaps for the first time that I consider the crop ratio and crop overlay to be “matched pairs” — I use certain combinations, and don’t use others. That might be fodder for more exploration.

  2. I did find it interesting that the only difference between the Robin and the iceberg picture was the height. As the height went up from the first AR to the second the cluster got smaller. But as it moved to 1:1 it got larger again. Whats the AR where it’s the smallest?
